On May 10 and 11, 2011 the Office for Research at Northwestern University presents Biology by Design, a symposium and public forum to promote discussion and presentation of recent discoveries and future directions in synthetic biology research.
In addition to scientific talks by experts in the field, the program will include a special panel addressing policy, ethics and the social impact of synthetic biology. We invite you to attend our program and participate in a lively exchange of views on these topics.
The Biology by Design symposium is open to the public and will take place on the Northwestern University campus in Evanston.
